About me

My name is Susanna Broomé and I am the one who runs Viking Age Clothing. I am a reenactor since many years and I have sold my patterns since 1995. They have evolved a lot since then and there is always more to learn. I love to dig deep into the archaeological literature and to study small fragments to unfold their secrets about how people looked and lived long ago. I also love to share my knowledge, to write and to teach. And I love textile handicrafts, to build beautiful objects from threads and fabrics with my hands.
